Such is Jeera Rice as the size of these rice grains is similar to that of the cumin seeds, Jeera rice also goes by the names Kalijira, Govinda bhog and baby basmati. Mostly cultivated in West Bengal of India. It’s tiny needle-shaped grains remain separate and fluffy when cooked, giving a unique taste and texture to this dish.
